About Me

The Belgian drummer Tuur Moens (Duffel, 1985) is a wonder of versatility. Whether it is jazz, latin, african, funk, pop, fusion or world music, Moens feels at ease with many different styles and for that reason is in high demand as a session studio and live musician. Tuur won the Erasmus Jazz Prize in Rotterdam, 2009, and has gained the admiration of artists like Ntjam Rosie, Jo Sarah and many more… Playing all over the globe at reknown festivals such as Java Jazz Festival, Cairo Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz (2008, 2009, 2011, 2012), Bangkok Music Festival and many more… Tuur also composes his own music.
