My Jazz Story

Hi all, My name is Svetlana, I am a jazz pianist from Russia. Now I live in Berlin and I make music and create here. Not so long ago I released the album "Letters to my little girl" with Ofri Nehemya on drums. And now my third album "Between the times" is about to be released. I took part in a program where I was lucky enough to play with my idols, such as Ben Wendel, Lionel Louecke, Norma Winston, Jeff Ballard, Larry Grenadier and even record some of their compositions) In conventional jazz music I like freedom of expression and I'm constantly experimenting with sound and styles. My music can be called modern jazz because it combines both electronics, song elements and jazz, and probably even classics, on which I was brought up. What's important to me in music is sincerity, energy, content and intensity. I try to recreate in my music as much as possible the emotional experiences I have. My advice to listeners: give this music a chance to immerse you in different states, which it carries in itself.) I hope I somehow managed to convey them). So you will tell me)
