My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... It is uses elements of music not found in any other style or genre. I was first exposed to jazz...as a child listening to my parents listening to jazz records. The best show I ever attended was...either Remember Shakti or John Scofield with Wayne Shorter. The first jazz record I bought was...Two For The Road- Herb Ellis, Joe Pass, Guitars. My advice to new listeners...explore the history of the players as well as the times in which they lived. Listen with your heart.
