My Jazz Story

The best show I ever attended was... Miles with Mike Stern, Marcus Miller, Bill Evans (sax), at a small theater in Dallas. Around 1983. 2.5 hours of non-stop creativity - groove after new groove after new groove after new groove…. It was electrifying - and just thinking of it, the hair on the back of my neck stands up to this day!
