About Me
My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz...early, maybe 10. Loved all sorts of music, but artists like Ella and Sarah first made the impression. It was
in my house playing and instrumental contemporary jazz was happening as well just a few years later. Grover Washington, The
Crusaders, Doug Carn, Jimmy Smith all captured my head and heart. Left school in 1969 and went to San Francisco, so I was in the
right place for great music and artists.
