About Me
Jenny is proud to announce the release of her hugely anticipated 2nd Album
‘Always and forever.’
Produced by the wonderful Claire Martin OBE mixed and mastered by Chris Traves both from Soup
to nuts Productions.
Following the release of her critically acclaimed Debut Album Caught a touch of your love in 2014,
Jenny had been busy presenting her Jazz Radio programme, running her Jazz Club and had a full
diary of gigs when the pandemic started. This gave Jenny time to reflect and think about producing
another album this time with the help of Claire Martin producing. Claire was an obvious choice for
jenny to ask for help, having been a fan for many years. Jenny is also delighted that Claire joins
Jenny on the album singing backing vocals on a couple of the tracks along with Winston Clifford
adding a special touch to the album.
When choosing her musicians Jenny didn’t hesitate to include Winston Clifford on drums and
Neville Malcolm on Bass, both of whom featured on her debut album. Adding trombone on some of
the tracks on the album was suggested by Chris Traves who mixed and mastered the album. Jenny
chose Rob Barron and Adrian York to play piano on the album, each of them adding their own
special touches to six arrangements each.

Scores highly for its imaginative song list
Sublime Vocals
“Jenny delights the ears with her easy, smooth-as-silk voice. Beautifully produced by Claire Martin
and accompanied by the cream of British jazz. Her voice soars across a gorgeous collection of well-
chosen songs effortlessly. Fans of Jenny will treasure this.” Gill Manly
This is a highly engaging album with some great arrangements and production. Green’s vocals are
something of a revelation and her delivery of a range of different styles with the emotion and clarity
required to truly tell vocal stories is admirable. Those who know Green’s talent will like this and
those who don’t – well, get to her soon.

“ I have been singing for as long as I can remember.”
Growing up near Brighton, as a young artist, Jenny Green gigged for many years with function
bands along the South Coast, refining her art and creating a repertoire of beautiful contemporary
songs.
Fulfilling her love of close harmony singing, Jenny went on to achieve National and International
success through Acapella Singing. Her quartet won many awards representing Britain, and with
this, travelled extensively both in America and Europe. The quartet went on to record a successful
CD, produced by Derek Nash & Tony Philpot, at the Clowns Pocket Recording Studios in Bexley
Kent.
Moving to the Surrey area, she worked regularly on the London jazz and corporate circuits, including
regular performances upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s.
Another long-held ambition finally came to fruition in 2014 when she recorded her debut album
“Caught a Touch of Your Love”. Producer Sean Hargreaves said of this album; “Jenny's new album
goes much deeper than just love songs, it reflects her versatility as a performer.”
James Torme from Jazz FM described Jenny’s album as one of his “hidden treasures.”
The album was launched at the Pizza Express Pheasantry. It was a huge success and was followed
by performances at Pizza Express Soho ,The Bulls Head Barnes and the Marlborough Jazz Festival.
Alongside her performing and teaching, Jenny is also a radio presenter for Meridian FM based in
East Grinstead and broadcasts a jazz programme every Tuesday from 6 to 8pm. Jenny also runs and
hosts the East Grinstead Jazz Club at the Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead, now in its 8th
year. A highly successful, club night that features her house band and a succession of incredible
guest jazz artists. Audiences love Jenny not only for her singing, but her great love and warmth that
she exudes.
The pandemic had allowed her, as for so many, to take things more slowly, providing her time to
think about launching her 2nd Album due for released in June 2021. “Always and Forever” is a
collection of songs that again reflects her versatility as a performer and will be a mixture of jazz and
contemporary songs.
She is grateful for her early days performing in local bands, clubs and pubs. Jenny Green sees a
bright future as the National lockdown recedes and live performances resume.

My Jazz Story
I Love that jazz crosses into many genres in particular into classical and pop. I love the freedom of expression that comes from singing Jazz .Its the most satisfying to perform allowing me to express myself through song. It can be challenging but fun at the same time.
