Jason Byrne got his start in the music business working at GRP Records for more than
ten years, beginning in 1992 as an assistant to Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen. He moved
on to the position of coordinator in the company’s international division, and eventually
headed up the department, as Director of International Marketing, during one of its most
profitable periods. Following GRP, Byrne was the senior publicist at Third
Floor/EastWest Media for almost six years.
With the opening of Red Cat Publicity in January 2005 Byrne was able to immediately
offer creative artists publicity services with intensity and dedication. Being an
experienced publicist, and musician, he is in a position to be an effective press agent for
artists wishing to expand their awareness and audience, and further their careers.
