About Me
I have been in love with jazz all his life. Involved in a jazz club in Utrecht in the late 50's - early 60's, he started organizing tours of American jazz musicians along the Dutch jazz clubs. Recently I had the luck to compile a book with photo's of resting places of famous Jazzmusicians. It has been one of the most rewarding undertakings of my life. Have a look at: JazzLives
My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it fascinates me I was first exposed to jazz when I was about 13 years old I met [musician name], Dexter Gordon, Donald Byrd, Johnny Griffin, Kenny Clarke, Paul Bley, Sonny Rollins, Ornette Coleman, Clark Terry, The best show I ever attended was John Coltrane Quartet, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam 1963. The first jazz record I bought was Art Blakey, A Night at Birdland. My advice to new listeners take your time, there is so much music out there. Or whatever else you have in mind. A NEW star: Mette Henriëtte.
