born 1955, Oslo Norway.

Classical piano education from age of 5. Played Hammond B3 from age 13.

Started recording as 17 yrs old, composing music for progrock group RUPHUS, Polydor signed in 1972.

Released 3 LP's on Polydor:

“ New Born Day “ Polydor 1973 ” Ranshart “ Polydor 1974 ” Let Your Light SHine “ Polydor 1976

Has performed and recorded with top musicians like:

Jan Garbarek, Jon Christensen, Palle Mikkelborg, Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Terje Rypdal, Frank Gambale, Paul Jackson ( Headhunters ) Mike Clark, Harvey Mason

My Jazz Story

To me music starts where the word ends.. " jazz " isn't a main target or issue to me, but expressing myself unlimited by genres and styles is. Discipline and improvisation are elements represented in many different cultures. Don't let the term jazz get in your way.. :))
