I love jazz because... swing, improvisation, complex rythms, never ending story: one world one music. I was first exposed to jazz... 1969 hot rats frank zappa I met [musician name]... Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Stefano Bollani, Francesco Bearzatti, Gianluca Petrella, Enrico Rava ... The best show I ever attended was... Zappa 31/08/1973, Rome; Art Ensemble of Chicago , Pisa 1978(?) The first jazz record I bought was... do not remember My advice to new listeners... listen to whatever comes and try to understand where does it come from. Or whatever else you have in mind.
