Award-winning jazz vocalist Ellen Winters “is a rare find. Charming and intelligent in her delivery, she brings fresh energy to jazz singing at a time when there is very little originality left.” Ellen has had a wide range of musical experiences, from singing lead soprano with a 6-voice group at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, to soloing at a New York City clubs like Danny's Skylight Cabaret and Upstairs At Rose's Turn. Ellen continues to be sought after as a jazz and cabaret artist throughout the Midwest, while working as a clinician, adjudicator, and arranger. Ellen has been nominated for several Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards and was voted the Milwaukee Shepherd Express Best Jazz Artist in 2004 & 2005. Ellen is signed to 251 Records, a Chicago-based independent label.
