Debbie Gifford launched her international notoriety in Rome, Italy in 2004, Gifford has continues to perform at festival, club and concert venues in Europe, Canada, Asia and the USA. In 2007, she debuted at the famous Birdland Jazz Club in New York City as special guest vocalist with Tommy Igoe and The Birdland Big Band. A partial listing of Debbie’s worldwide performance venues; Italy Jazz Festivals: Palermo, Porticello, Ustica, Cefalu and Taormina, France Jazz Festivals: 6th, 7th & 9th Annual Festival International de Musique en Catalogne, China: JZ Jazz Concert Series at the Shanghai Cultural Arts Center in Shanghai, China and JZ Jazz Clubs in Shanghai and Hangzhou. In addition to the concert venues, she recorded a double CD set of Rock and Jazz titled “Open Airs” with French Rock Group “Insider” at Cat Studios, Perpignan, France and has recorded 3 CD’s in the USA. Debbie is a versatile vocalist that has proven her talent performing a variety of styles in numerous venues including: the Allen Theatre in the Playhouse Square Theatre, (Cleveland, Ohio) accompanied by her 17 piece jazz orchestra “Debbie Gifford’s Sweet City Swing”, performing the opening concert for the “ Rat Pack Tribute” from Las Vegas, as guest vocalist with the renowned Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, “GALA – A Celebration of Women in Jazz” , Hollywood, California, and featured jazz vocalist for the summer concert tour “JAZZ DIVA’S - Swing, Ladies, Swing” with DIVA Jazz Orchestra members Sherrie Maricle and Karolina Strassmayer. Debbie also performed with jazz greats: Marcus Belgrave, Bobby Watson, and Joe Lovano.

This raven-haired songbird captivates audiences with her sensual and emotional delivery of timeless standards and originals. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Gifford had a natural affinity for music. She began her musical career at the age of four when she got her first taste of show business. As the audience sat in total silence, her pure sweet voice carried into the audience, touching hearts and bringing a tear to the eye. The applause was overwhelming and she has never stopped touching hearts with her music.
