My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz by a high school English teacher who was also a very fine bass player. He ran a 3 hour Saturday morning Intro to [Modern] Jazz seminar where I really got to hear great musicians - particularly from a bass player's perspective. So I now have a great collection of Mingus, Charlie Haden and other bassists!
