JAZZ IS MY MOOD ALTERING DRUG OF CHOICE I love jazz because... the music feels good - in my ears, in my throat, in my soul Jazz is like a gorgeous intricate tapestry woven of many different styles and traditions, so many different instruments. Best live, served up fresh at table side. A blend that will never happen exactly that way again as the musicians trade riffs. Alive. I was first exposed to jazz... in my teens, listening to Jack Teagarden on trombone. My grandfather grew up in Davenport, Iowa with Bix Beiderbecke, and he tod great stories.
