About Me

Brant Lyon believes music and poetry coming together has the power to summon the spirit/s. He is a composer, keyboardist, poet and writer who founded and hosts his jazzoetry series, Hydrogen Jukebox. He is composer, performer, and executive producer of the collaborative POEMusic CD, Beauty Keeps Laying Its Sharp Knife Against Me (Logochrysalis Productions 2008), a highly eclectic collection of the work of eight noted poets (including his own) set to a wide array of musical styles from R&B/funk, blues, latin, to soundscapes.
