My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it is like life, unpredictable, sometimes glad, sometimes sad. I met many great people in many countries, when playing and performing. Jazz connects people all over the world, creating communities.. Sibongile Anna Buda, bassist and educator from South Africa and myself have finished the first edition of a series of books with biographies of jazzwomen around the world, The first edition counts 80 biographies, it will be released digitally and as a book. Jazz transforms into a space of gender equality, little by little.
