"Aries Goddess (For Consuela and the Fallen)" is a new video from ace Chicago trumpeter Marques Carroll. Featured on his debut album The Ancestors' Call, this moving composition was written for the mothers of victims of gun violence. The bandleader notes that “[it] happens all too often, whether it is by street violence or by the hands of those who are supposed to serve and protect. This piece is for all of our brothers and sisters who have lost their lives on this soil.”
