ZLAHKA.SKORAJ (from Robert's "IZZA", his 15th record as a leader) is a construct of two words where "zlahka" translates as "with ease" or "easily" and "skoraj" translates as "almost". These two words represent the illusion of simplicity regarding the composition and at the same reveal to the musicians and to the listener the idea and the meaning of the title which represents one's personal struggles but also reflects the strange times that we live in. In the context of the whole record it also represents the turbulent political times in Slovenia in the past 2 years. Bassist/composer Jukič likes to present strong melodies and connects them with complex harmonic structures thus providing a challenge for the musicians. The quartet with Boštjan Simon on saxophone, Tomaž Gajšt on trumpet and Kristijan Krajnčan on drums is walking on the edge and after 2 records and more than 4 years together that is where they feel and sound most sincere and comfortable.
