About the Album

Released on the 5th January, "L'Heroïsme" is the final single from my charity debut album "Penelope" (album out 26th January in memory of my mother and with all proceeds going to World Child Cancer, so far raising almost £2000). It’s an emotive chamber-jazz homage to my mum’s bravery when facing pancreatic cancer, featuring wonderful solos from Tom Ridout and Mike Soper and myself on baritone guitar, and played by my 11-piece Grande Família ensemble. The drummer-less line-up features woodwinds, brass (including French horn), viola and rhythm section. A surprise for my mum, several family members feature alongside musicians special to me.
