About the Album

"Gnome Sayin'?", while not being a scientific breakthrough as the title may allude, has the chemistry necessary for getting down to jazz basics. Solos are handled by Justo Almario on sax, George Kahn on piano and Brian Bromberg on bass. Alex Acuna on drums and John Fumo on trumpet round out the quintet. Recorded April 2, 2004, from the ...Compared To What? album, released on Playing Records.

Tracks

On Green Dolphin Street, Mercedes for the Lady, Compared to What, 5 to Get Ready 10 to Go, Too Much Sax, Woodstock, Soul Sauce, Gnomesyain', Alice in Wonderland, The Hero's Journey
