The much sought after guitarist has toured extensively in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Far East with David Sanborn, the Brecker Brothers, Roberta Flack, George Duke Bob James, Marcus Miller Project w/Lalah Hathaway and Joe Sample, Billy Cobham, Bill Evans, Steve Smith (drummer with Steps Ahead and Journey), Tiger Okoshi (Tiger's Baku), Kirk Whalum, and various groups led by Dean Brown. His experience includes videos with Gil Evans, Billy Cobham, Louie Belson, Bob James, Kirk Whalum and a DCI instructional video with Steve Smith's Vital Information. Dean has appeared with David Sanborn on "The Tonight Show", "The Arsenio Hall Show", and Roberta Flack on "The 4th of July with the "Boston Pops Orchestra" as well as "The Rosie O'Donnell Show". He also did "THE ABC AFTER NEW YEAR'S SPECIAL" featuring David Sanborn, Eric Clapton, Cassandra Wilson, D'angelo, Gang Starr, Marcus Miller (bass), Ricky Peterson (keys), Don Alias (perc), Gene Lake (drums), and Steve Gadd (drums).

Most recently, he appeared with George Duke in a one hour special on the BET network. Dean's recording career spans twenty years and includes work on three grammy winning CDs (Out of the Loop-The Brecker Bros., Inside-David Sanborn, A Love Affair-The Music of Ivan Lins). Dean Has released his first CD titled "HERE" on the ESC Label.
