Bill Anschell is a pianist and composer based in Atlanta. His latest CD, When Cooler Heads Prevail, was released in October on Summit Records. From 1992 to 1996 Anschell recorded and toured extensively with vocalist Nnenna Freelon. His 1998 CD, a different note all together (Accurate) was chosen as one of the "10 Best" jazz CDs of the year by UPI writer Ken Franckling.
