which has cosmic or psychedelic leanings. They implement a controversial
"minimum one live percussionist" rule, with a strong concentration on rhythm

Known as the "One Word List" after a tune that appeared on the Birds of Fire album, the John McLaughlin mailing list has been going strong since the mid 90s. Its community consists of McLaughlin fans and musicians from all over the world who come together to discuss the man and his music.
