| Submission Guidelines | Intellectual Property Policy
While we're not at all eager to dwell on the subject, we've found it
necessary to communicate the following policy on intellectual property:
- Material published at AllAboutJazz.com belongs to AAJ and the
contributing author.
- Online publication at AAJ is expected to be exclusive. Authors are
not permitted to cross-post their material at another web site.
- Authors wishing to submit AAJ material to a print publication are
encouraged to do so, provided the article retains an AAJ copyright
notice. Financial benefit arising from this activity belongs exclusively
to the author.
- Licensing fees arising from any material syndicated by AAJ will be
split equally between AAJ and the author.
