Submit track--raise awareness--drive traffic

Leverage AAJ's reach and relevancy by submitting a full length MP3 to our download of the day program. A featured track will raise the awareness of your new CD and extend your existing promotional campaign.

Tracks can be archived at AAJ indefinitely or limited to 14 days. Most tracks are downloaded 1,000 to 1,500 times during the first 14 days of availability. Additional downloads will be generated from your AAJ Musician Profile page.

The service is free, but musicians and labels are required to host the MP3 file. If you are unable to host the MP3 file and you are not a current advertiser, AAJ will host the file for you for a one-time charge of $60.

• You must host your MP3 file. AAJ will host the file for you for a one-time charge of $60. You can upload a file to your server via an FTP program. If you have a webmaster, contact them for help.

• We only feature full length MP3 files. Do not link to MYSPACE, CD Baby, etc.

• You must have an AAJ Musician Profile to be featured.

• 128kbps to 192kbps recording quality preferred.

• We prefer material from new(er) releases, though live and unreleased material will be considered.

• We recommend that you archive your track beyond 14 days.

• When submitting a track, you can provide a link to your website and to a retail store page.

• AAJ has generated over 4 million MP3 downloads since November 2005.

• Most tracks are downloaded 1,000-1,500 times in the first 14 days. Some tracks have been downloaded over 1,000 times in the first day. Our top track has been downloaded well over 20,000 times.
