If you're a photographer, painter or illustrator and would like to exhibit your work at AAJ, please follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. If you haven't already, please submit your information to us.

2. We'll then email you all the information you need to create your album.

3. Once you've created your album, click the dropdown box and select "add photos"

4. Select the "Form" tab from the pop-up window

5. Read the instructions carefully, then upload the files and captions (native JPG size should run between 300-600 pixels wide--the program will auto-create the thumbnails during the upload process)

6. Click the Submit button

7. ...Wait for the transmission to finish and for the main page to refresh, then add another ten...

...and that should do it!

You can update your album with new images at any time.

The Gallery program has several features--don't be afraid to check them all out.

Tips

You can upload up to ten images (and captions) at a time.

To add new photos to your album, log back in, and click the "add photos" link from the "< admin options >" dropdown list box. Follow these six steps...

1. Select the "Form" tab
2. Click the "Browse..." button
3. Drill down to the directory (on your hard drive) where your images are located
4. Doubleclick on an image file (the path will appear in the "file" box)
5. Add a caption (repeat process nine more times)
6. Click the "Upload Now" button

Do not place a copyright notice on your images. Rather, use Photoshop to imbed meta information in the image itself. The copyright notice completely detracts from the enjoyment of viewing the image.

File size limit! Save your images as medium to high quality JPGs (72dpi). Average image size should run somewhere between 50-75kb.

We feature visual artists, not albums, so please add new images to your existing album.

We'll feature your work on the AAJ home page when your album exceeds fifty images (a dozen images for painters).
