Born in Dagengam, England, John Farnham is Australia's most successful solo artist. His first hit came at 18 years old with a song called Sadie. During the 60s he fronted the Little River Band, and then made a comeback in the mid 80s with his phenomenally successful Whispering Jack album and tour.
