Biography: Valkyr Biography

Valkyr was formed in late 2006 by Anthony White, he was joined shortly after by Rich Butler-Lee on drums/percusion. Since then they have had interest from various record labels and after only 5 months found themselves nominated for the "Best Metal Band" award in the "Cornish Live Music Awards". Shortly after recording their debut album "Chooser of the Slain", they got in Guy Frazer-Wright on guitar and Rob Strookman on bass on a session basis just before starting their first tour. Guy has since decided to join the band full time but they are currently on the look out for a perminent bass player due to Rob moving to University. Now gigging the county and fast building a solid reputation as an outstanding live band, they are looking to further their career by touring their next album across Europe between June and September of 2008
