...A recently transplanted New Yorker hailing from Chicago, Witkowski's musical interests have taken her around the globe, from leading her own trio in Brussels to
teaching and performing in western Kenya, to studying with Cuban master pianists Chucho Valdés and Hilario Duran in Banff, Alberta and Toronto. During her tenure in
Chicago Witkowski worked regularly in the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, Rob Parton's Jazztech Big Band, and the all-female sextet SHE.
