Album Description

Musical Artist and Pianist Andy Wasserman presents seven original compositions, arranged and performed by him live on a 1924 Steinway Model "M" piano. Each solo piano piece is based on an original poem written by Andy Wasserman. The titles of the song correspond to the titles of each of his poems. Musical speaking, these piano pieces pay respect and homage to George Russell's Lydian Chromatic Concept of Tonal Organization - the art and science of Tonal Gravity, resonating in these album tracks in the spirit of an Artist-Poet. These original compositions, arrangements and unique interpretations his own, unique piano style merges rhythmic invention and elegant harmonies, standing as a living tribute to the tradition of virtuoso elegance, past and present. All music composed, arranged, performed live, recorded and produced by Jazz pianist Andy Wasserman.
