https://goliasmileycoulter.bandcamp.com/album/refractories This recording brings together Los Angeles-based multi-reedist, Vinny Golia; Denver-based bassist, Matt Smiley; and Casper, Wyoming-based percussionist, Ron Coulter for the first time. The occasion was the Creative Music Series curated by Coulter. The three found an immediate musical rapport and the result is a wide-ranging free jazz romp; radical music recorded in remote Wyoming.
