Album Description

“Opal" is the debut single from Adam Cordero & Odin Scherer's upcoming album, "Sonora" - to be released on Bandcamp, December 22, 2023, on Tidebloom Records. Following his work with jazz legend Henry Threadgill on his trailblazing multimedia project “The Other One,” Adam was inspired to bring the bassoon into an improvisational context. “Opal,” begins with an improvised musical dialogue between the bassoon and guitar, followed by a complex theme composed by Odin in the spirit of Threadgill. "Opal" is on all streaming platforms now!
