Cyclone Trio is described as a head caving heavy jazz power unit of drums and saxophones, compromising Tony Irving a non-linear/free improvising drummer who founded the bands Ascension and Descension in the '90s, with drummer Tim Green and saxophonist Massimo Magee. The group was formed in Brisbane, Australia in 2013. Their music has been described as "bordering on cacophony in an unrelenting landscape of colliding percussion and towering saxophone." Tracks from their releases to date, and other projects from the three members, are featured on this show.
